OK, OK... this is a WARNING. To some this may feel like a missionary reunion slide show, but to others, you may be able to appreciate the lack of skill or art to these pictures. They are plainly family pics from the last 8 months that I finally retrieved from Michelle's camera & basically will never get placed in a photo book.
Last summer was busy, but full of some great memories. Ashley got engaged to her high school sweetheart Daniel Derrick in April so the girls (including one of our officially "adopted" daughters, Emalee) & I took a week trip to Las Vegas as Ashley's last "hurrah" as a single gal. We had so much fun! We ate, layed by the pool, read, ate, went to a show, shopped, walked the strip and oh... did I mention eat? Can I just say... we all loved it--

A nice treat to get wet from the fountain on a very HOT day in July!

Trying on a few shades for the road!

At the Beatles Concert Show -- can you believe that guys wig?

Our
"Oceans Eleven" shot in front of the Bellagio before the fountain show started.
AUGUST
Then we had a wedding in August (thus the blog pic).

At the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

The Warner/Peterson family that attended the Temple Ceremony...

I think this Daddy loves his girls...
In October we decided to give the family an early Christmas and took them on a Mexican Riviera Cruise. It was an absolute blast! When the kids heard the news they were excited & wanted to add a few extra days at Disneyland. Well, being a So. Californian girl & having a easy to convince husband, how could we refuse? We were OK with that since they were going to cough up their own "moolah" to visit Mickey...

We have arrived...

Our knights in shining armor!

Ashley & Dan with a "leg"... can you believe they passed on the Disney Corn Dogs???

Lookin cool in our 3D glasses... Nate didn't understand that fishing glasses are not 3D- how cute is he?

Waiting for our turn on the "Tower of Terror"... so fun!
MEXICO... here we come!
Then to the pier to board the cruise ship... but where's Captain Stubing?

What a cute family... Michelle, Simeon and... Kate?

Nate had 1 to many hot peppers at lunch on one of our excursions and it was absolutely hilarious! He couldn't stop crying & we couldn't either...

A day of shopping & Dan was in heaven. Loved the taxi drivers... since he was the only one that spoke the language--

One of the best times on a cruise is the DINING! The food was good & we always had some great conversation during our dinners--
Though I brought home an unwanted guest from Mexico the trip was still fun and filled with many fun memories. Going back to MX anytime soon? ... don't think so!
Looks like an absolute blast!!!! Sorry about the "souvenir". Have a great time at Powell! :)
